The screener's first responsibility is to arrive at the screen location at the correct moment and with proper positioning.
A sprint-and-seal is a technique where a screener sprints toward the screening location, establishes the screen with perfect footwork (feet set, knees bent, chest wide), and immediately seals the defender behind them.
Beyond on-ball screens (ball handler uses the screen), off-ball screens create movement and spacing for non-ball handlers.
Crash means crashing the offensive boards aggressively for a rebound.
The difference between offensive and defensive rebounding is contextual.
