How it works

• On the drive, the low man slides across to the front of the rim ("be the I" — straight up under the basket) to contest vertically at the rim (a charge only if legally established outside the restricted area).
• This vacates the weak-side corner/help man, so the next defender up (the high weak-side defender) rotates DOWN to the low man's man, and the top defender rotates to the high man — an "X-out" rotation up and across.
• Defenders rotate to the next-most-dangerous man, not back to their own, scrambling and matching up afterward.
